Bishop Franklin L.Glover, Sr. is one of the sons of the late Deacon Marvin F. Glover and Mother Betty Glover. He is God’s visionary for Restoration Tabernacle, Inc. located at 52 International Court in Dallas, Ga. The church can be traced back to a small organization in Cedartown, Ga called the Back to the Bible church. After the tenure of its prior pastor is 1998, only two members remained.
In August 1998, Chief Apostle Raymond Moss, Sr. requested that Elder Franklin L. Glover, Sr. take the oversight and job of pastoring the church in Cedartown, Ga. After much prayer and fasting, and with his immediate family began to rebuild the ministry there.
Approval was given by Chief Apostle Moss that Elder Myron Collins serve as the Assistant Pastor, and Brother John Ellis as musician.
God began to move and discipleship began to grow over the next few years. People begin attend regularly and they joined from Carrolton,Rome, Cartersville, Villa Rica, Stone Mountain, Lithonia, Douglasville, Rex, Marietta, Powder Springs, Conyers, Covington, Ellenwood, Union City, and Alabama.
Elder Glover stood firmly on the word of God and because of his uncompromising stand there was cause for organizational change. God began restoring lives, giving joy, and peace to a group of people that wanted to walk in the fullness of His Word.
In August 2003, after receiving disturbing news, prayer, and consulting of the congregation resulted in the decision to build a new sanctuary and move into another realm with God. The name Restoration Tabernacle was given as a place where God would restore life.
In October 2003, after several meetings, construction of the new sanctuary was started by McNeel Builders of Marietta, GA and was completed by February 2004. God really brought the vision forth quickly.
On April 4, 2004 at 4 o’clock in the afternoon, dedication of the new sanctuary to the glory of God became a part of history. The ministry grew from 2 to its present discipleship status. We have Outreach Ministry that goes beyond the walls of the church into communities. Hospitals, nursing homes, and school support. Different members with this outreach ministry realize the necessity to carry church to others who are not able to attend church.
Elder Glover was ordained on January 1, 2005 by Chief Apostle Raymond E. Moss, Sr. (since deceased), and Bishop Spencer Lackey as the Bishop of Restoration Tabernacle, Inc.
Bishop Glover received honors as one of the 2007 Chosen Pastors of the year at the Atlanta Gospel Choice Awards and 2007 Gospel Superfest Award for his service to his church and community.
Bishop Glover is also the Founder of the United Churches of Restoration, Inc. which is a fellowship of churches of diverse faith as long as they teach and live according to Biblical principles and the teachings of Jesus Christ.
